I made a kit for the NovMember Roundup over at MIS. I don't have much to say right now 'cause it's dinnertime, but I just wanted to let you in on my latest freebie! Here's the preview:

MIS NovMember Roundup kit

And here's the download link!

I've gotta go, but I'll leave you with this passage:

He will yet fill your mouth with laughing and your lips with rejoicing. Job 8:21

Good night or day!

Howdy, neighbors! No, I haven't been watching Home Improvement reruns! I'm just in a good mood, I guess. Both kiddos are stuffy and coughing, and Nate's been biting and pinching me a lot lately (because he can't breathe well to nurse, I guess), but I'm in a good mood anyway! It might be because for the past 2 nights, Nate has slept in his own bed all night! 'Till 8:30 when my cell phone rang yesterday morning (I didn't get to it in time and they didn't leave a message, but it wasn't a number I recognized), and 'till 7:35 this morning! We've got our REALife group meeting tonight. I've really enjoyed reading The Purpose Driven Life so far. Buddy's working for the second Wednesday in a row, though, so the kids and I will be getting a ride with one of the other couples in the group. I think he'll finally be off next Wed, but I'm not sure right now. I guess I should look to make sure before we go tonight so I can arrange a ride or let them know I won't need one next week.

This past weekend was really busy! Really, it was just Saturday, but it was so busy it might as well have been the whole weekend! First we had to clean the whole house. It was really a mess, and it really needed to be done. Then on Saturday afternoon, from 4-6, was my nephew's first birthday party. We ended up being an hour late because Hayley decided to go to someone else's birthday party instead and we had to go find her. Then from 6:30-9, I had a Bunco game with the ladies at church. Yep, I was late, but they were JUST about to start when I walked in, so I didn't miss anything. I'd never played before, and I started at the head table and stayed there for the first 8 rounds! I won 8 rounds in a row! I ended up winning 11 rounds in all, which tied one other person. We had a "roll off" and I won! I won a huge coffee mug (cappuccino-size) with 2 biscotti in it and a $10 gift certificate to Starbucks. We have some cappuccino pods here at home, so I've been enjoying the mug and the biscotti already. We were going to use the gift certificates Sunday morning after breakfast, on our way to church, but then we forgot! By the time church let out at 12:30 and I finally remembered, I didn't want coffee that late in the day. Oh, well. We'll just save it for another time. My name was also pulled for a door prize, but they didn't allow double prizes, so they drew another name instead. Oh, I almost forgot! That wasn't the end of our busyness on Saturday! While I was at Bunco, Buddy's oldest brother, Allen, and his new wife, Bonnie, came by to stay the night on their way to visit my in-laws. Allen lives in Utah now, so no one in the family had met Bonnie. At first we were all amazed at how much she looked like Allen's last wife, but she doesn't look all that much like her in person. She's really nice. I don't know how long she'll last, though, seeing as she's his 6th wife. Allen & Kim were married for about 8 1/2 years. That was his longest marriage.

So, Mom is now retired. She's been in touch with Kelly Services, so she might be going back to work full time. In other, unrelated news, the breeder that had 3 female puppies available two weeks ago (the last time I heard from her) now only has 1. The first time I emailed her, she got back to me the next day. I guess she set up an expectation by doing that, but the next time I emailed her, she didn't get back to me for 2 weeks. Now I emailed her again yesterday to try to arrange a day to come and see her one remaining puppy and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I found another breeder who's a little farther away and doesn't have a website, but might be a better bet if they can actually communicate with their (potential) customers.

Ok, so I guess that's enough yakkin' from me. Here are some LOs I'd like to show you. First up is my final product from the latest progressive challenge over at GDS. I'm not going to bore you with each step in this post...just straight to the end. So, here it is:

2 Cute 2 Spook Halloween 2007

You can view the credits here

Also, I made these 2 LOs of my grandparents. I think I'm going to print them and frame them and give them to them for Christmas. These are my father's parents, my bio-dad, who I hardly ever talk to. Grandma Ann is my very favorite grandparent of all. I get sad seeing her get older now, because I know she won't be around forever like it seemed she would when I was a kid. She turned 77 years old a little over a week ago. Popa is actually my step-grandfather. Grandma Ann married him when my father was 15 years old, 8 years after my grandfather died. But he's the only grandfather I've ever known on my father's side, and I love him dearly. He turned 80 this year on D-Day. Ok, anyway, here are the LOs.

Thank You

Cherish Grandparents

You can see the credits here and here.

Well, I guess that's probably enough from me for one day. I need to go start getting ready for my meeting tonight anyway, so I'll leave you with this passage:

But I, by Your great mercy, will come into Your house; in reverence will I bow down toward Your holy temple. Psalm 5:7

Good night or day!
