Happy Mother's Day! I'll be calling my mom later on today. B cooked our favorite dish for me last night, and he's cooking our other favorite dish tonight. H woke up feeling bad. She says she's already feeling better, though, so hopefully we'll get to do our little bit of school we do on Sundays. Wed. is co-op day and Thur. is one of B's days off, so we take those off, too, and do school through the "weekend." B told me yesterday that I'm doing such a good job teaching math that he doesn't want to interrupt the flow, so I guess I'm the full-time math teacher. At least for a few more years. I got my KONOS Volume 1 in the mail a couple of days ago, and have been looking through it, trying to plan our weeks. I love this part of homeschooling. It's all so exciting and challenging. I still need the timeline figures, to make a timeline, and to finish planning our first unit (Obedience), then I'll be all ready to start KONOS. Actually, I want to get Spelling Power and maybe Writing Power before we start, too. We'll be finished with math in the middle of July (we took a month or 2 off after the beginning of the year), and are going to take a month and a half break from that 'till Sept. I think that's all...Easy Grammar and Daily Grams don't start 'till about 2nd grade, I think, and we probably won't start Latin or Greek 'till then, either. But today we just have to do Bible, handwriting, and math. And a lady's coming over to borrow our toy piano, to use it in the play You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Their Schroeder needs a piano prop. H got upset when I told her someone was borrowing her piano, but she got over it quickly. The lady will be bringing it back tomorrow afternoon.
