Well, we've all been sick this week. B got it first on Sun and stayed home from work on Monday, then H had diarreah from Tues 'till yesterday. I was sick on Wed, but luckily it was just the one day for me. H was invited to a birthday party today (Sat), but I wasn't going to chance her getting other kids sick. The party was postponed anyway, so she didn't miss out. She felt fine all day today, so ask long as she's fine tomorrow, we'll make co-op on Mon.

It's finally getting cold around here, but I've been so busy that it seems strange that Christmas is only 3 weeks away. We have all our shopping done. I ordered some gifts from catalogs this year, to be delivered directly to the recipients, so not much wrapping for me this time. As far as I know, B and I are not planning on buying anything for each other, so I only have to wrap my sister's gift and 3 things for H. I've written up Christmas cards, but I think I'm going to have to plug in my old computer to get some addresses off of it. I also need to write letters to go with a few of the cards.

B worked 1/2 a day on Thurs and 1/2 a day today for overtime. I think he's also working 8 hours a weekend through the end of the year. He has to work Christmas Eve and Day, too. Bummer that we don't get to spend them with our families, but at least he'll get paid double time and a half for them. Now he's got to find someone to trade hours with him so he doesn't have to work on the 1st. He's taking vacation from the 26th through the 31st, and his normal days off are Thurs-Sat. If he doesn't find someone to work his hours on the 1st, he'll be off the 26-31, work the 1st, and be off the 2-4. We'll be 200 miles away on the 26-31 and would really rather not have to drive back on our anniversary (the 31st) so that he can work one day and then be off for another 3 days. Speaking of our anniversary (#5), we're thinking of going to Galveston and either touring the villas or going to the Moody Gardens/IMAX/Rainforest/whatever else they have there. So, we're debating between the old and the new. I toured the villas in elementary school with my class and thought they were very interesting, but can't remember many details. He's never been. And neither of us have ever been to the Moody Gardens thing (though I've been to the IMAX there and we've both been to the IMAX in San Antonio). So, I guess we know what he and I will be talking about over the next few weeks.
